Visit Rackstad art museum for a glimpse of fine Arvika arts and handicrafts and learn more about the well-known artists of the Rackstad colony.
Due to the current covid-19 situation the museum is open Thursday - Sunday 12 am - 4 pm.
An art museum that presents the most prominent figures from the rich artistic tradition of the Arvika so-called Rackstad Colony. The group also included prominent craftsmen. Oppstuhage was the home and studio of the well-known sculptor Christian Eriksson. The café serves lovely homemade bread. The museum is surrounded by a nice park and offers a variety of events like guided tours, music programme and lectures.
